My opportunity belief lies within my industry field of construction.  We all know how much everyone hates paperwork.  Managing construction projects involve a TON of paperwork regularly.  With a ton of information that always seems to be sitting in one document that constantly needs to be referenced, revisited, or fished out of an email inbox to complete, much of the process seems repetitive, but no effective solution to maximize this productivity.  My opportunity belief would be a software that takes in files that are reused on every project (i.e. permit applications for the city, inspection requests, subcontracts, pay applications, etc.)  All of these hundreds of files all require similar information:  project number codes (often separate for owners, architects, and the contractor), building addresses, owner information, contractor information, subcontractor state license numbers, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if there was just one spreadsheet that asked e...

Neighborhood Enhancement During the summers in middle school in high school, I often found myself bored throughout the days trying to find a way to occupy myself and earn some money along the way.  The money was desired for many different reasons:  to save up for a vehicle, to go on a trip to visit my friend in Maryland, to pay for a new set of golf clubs to fuel my newfound passion, etc.  I was always looking for ways to make a quick buck.  I mowed lawns and did home inspections for my uncle that was a local real estate agent, I got some work with some landscapers that were working on houses in the neighborhood, and I picked up a few hourly jobs with some local stores such as the Under Armour Outlet.  One ridiculously hot weekend, my dad came home with a pressure washer and showed me how to clean our front walkway and driveway.  Some random part of me was thrilled to watch the dark grime steadily come off the pavement as I waved the pressure washer ba...

Prompt:  Identify 20 "bugs" that either you or others around you experience in your daily life.  Be as specific as possible about each "bug." While its OK to say that the drive-thru at McDonald's is too slow, it's much better to say something like "During rush hour, the drive-thru at McDonald's on Baymeadows Road is so slow that the line backs out onto the street!"
